The Sectional office in Atlántico prosecuted three brothers who, apparently, were engaged in the theft of cattle rustling for sacrifice.
After several complaints were received from farmers and ranchers, who would have been victims of cattle rustling, the Prosecutor’s Office coordinated with the National Police an arrest operation against Roberto Enrique, Óscar Guillermo and Julio Alberto Jiménez Lara on July 27.
The facts took place on September 2, 2020, in a plot located in a rural area of the municipality of Campo de la Cruz where one of the victims found five skins of the livestock upon arriving at the place.
Given the evidence collected, these people were charged with the crimes of aggravated rustling. The defendants did not plead guilty.
