After a preliminary agreement with the Prosecutor’s Office, Nicolás Prada Calixto was sentenced to 16 years and 11 months in prison, for his responsibility in the death of 21-year-old Joan Gabriel Herrera.
The facts took place on July 16, 2022, in Floridablanca (Santander), when two men, including the defendant, participated in the attack against the victim with a firearm.
The attackers fled the place, however, in the investigation it was possible to establish the identity of the defendant.
The 36-year-old was charged with aggravated homicide and aggravated illegal possession of firearms.
