For their alleged responsibility in the commission of manufacturing, trafficking or possession of narcotics, the Attorney General’s Office prosecuted three alleged members of the ‘Clan del Golfo’.

According to the investigation, the defendants were in charge of coordinating the sale of drugs in the metropolitan area of Cartagena since two years ago.

They are Marly del Carmen Ospino Ruíz, alias Marly; Harlin David Palencia Ospino, aka Chiquitin; and Marco Fidel Rodríguez López, alias El Veneco or Niño, who were arrested by the National Police in raids carried out on July 11, in the La Esperanza neighborhood in Cartagena (Bolívar).

During the hearings, these people did not plead guilty to the charges brought by the Prosecutor’s Office. For his part, a judge deprived them of their liberty and they must serve home confinement.
