The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted a minor under 16 years of age before a judge, as he was an alleged member of the Omaira Montoya Henao Commission belonging to the organized armed group ELN in Arauquita (Arauca).
According to the investigations, the adolescent was the one who carried out criminal intelligence activities for the criminal structure. In addition, he used a rifle to intimidate citizens.
The defendant was arrested by the National Police by virtue of a court order on July 6th.
In the hearings, the Prosecutor’s Office charged the minor with the crime of rebellion. He did not plead guilty. For his part, the judge sent the minor to a juvenile detention center.
