A  judge deprived 15 people of their liberty who, apparently, would be part of the criminal group La Calle, for their alleged responsibility in the crime of trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics.

According to the investigations, the defendants were apparently engaged in the sale of marijuana, cocaine and bazuco in different public sectors of the municipality of Caicedonia (Valle del Cauca) affecting public safety.

Due to these facts, a prosecutor from the Valle del Cauca Section requested arrest warrants against these people, which were carried out on May 28, by  Sijín – National Police officers during 11 raid proceedings in the neighborhood known as Obrero.

In a hearing, the judge sent to prison to: Yeison Andrés Hernández Vargas, alias Pibe; Lina Marcela Rodríguez Bedoya, aka Lina; Yamith Mauricio Correa Peñaloza, aka Mauricio; María Barbosa Hernández, aka Ana; Numbier Andrés Ocampo Betancourth, aka Mico; Anyelo Aristizábal Giraldo, aka La Perra or La Perris; Juan Carlos Carabalí Castañeda, alias Carabalí; Juan Felipe Galindo Monsalve, aka Juan; José Andrés López Pulido, aka El Negro; José Leonardo Villegas Zarate, aka José; Cristian David Soto Jiménez, aka Cristian; Diego Fernando Rincón Hernández, aka Diego; Maicol Estiven Varón Montes, alias Maicol; and Juan Pablo Garzón Díaz, alias Juan Pablo.

On his part, the judge imposed home confinement against Edgar Andrés Tabares López, alias Edgar.
