After assessing the evidence presented by the Office of the Attorney General, a judge imposed a prison sentence on eight people accused of conspiracy to commit an aggravated crime, trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotic substances and aggravated robbery.
Those arrested people allegedly committed crimes on public roads and bars in Casandra and Puente Aranda neighborhoods in Fontibón.
According to the investigation, the criminal organization called “Kansas” apparently distributed the drug to young people who arrived at specific points for commercialization.
The defendants who did not plead guilty to charges are: Heidy Daniela Gutiérrez Rodríguez, Omar Steven Munévar Montaña, Daniel Felipe Gaona Burgos, Julián David Gaona Burgos, Jeisson Camilo Bernal Murcia, Jorge David López López, Juan David Quitian León and Carlos Daniel Rozo Beltrán.
