The facts occurred on June 21, 2019, in the residential area of Ocaña (Norte de Santander). According to what was established by members of the Technical Investigative Corps ( Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación CTI), the defendant allegedly attacked his 26-year-old former sentimental partner with a sharp weapon, causing her serious injuries.
According to the Institute of Legal Medicine, the victim was diagnosed with paraplegia.
The man was arrested by virtue of an order on April 7 on a public road in El Dorado neighborhood of that city by CTI investigators and the National Police.
