Investigators from the Technical Investigative Corps (Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación CTI), from Norte de Santander, in coordination with SIJIN personnel, carried out the arrest warrant issued by a judge against Geiny Guevara García, to serve an 8-year prison sentence for his responsibility in the crime of aggravated domestic violence.
According to the investigation, the events occurred in January 2016, in Doña Ceci de Cúcuta neighborhood (Norte de Santander), where Guevara García insulted, ripped her clothes, and hit his wife in the face, causing injuries that prostrated her for seven days.
The man was transferred to the ‘Modelo’ prison in Norte Santander, where he will serve the sentence imposed.
