Thanks to the conclusive evidence presented by a prosecutor from the Sectional office in Amazonas, a judge sent  Marcos Chota Agostinho to prison since he is allegedly responsible for committing thefts in Leticia (Amazonas).

The defendant was arrested in flagrante delicto in Colombia neighborhood in  Amazonas after he apparently threatened a passerby with a traumatic weapon from whom he stole a cell phone valued at 1,100,000 COP.

The Prosecutor’s Office is investigating whether this person would be involved in other criminal acts that occurred in the region.

Chota Agostinho was charged with theft. He did not plead guilty.

The Office of the Attorney General makes this information public for reasons of general interest.
