The Sectional Office in Guainía-Vaupés of the Prosecutor’s Office managed to get a judge to sentence Cristian David García Garay to 3 years and 6 months in prison for trafficking, manufacturing and possession of narcotics.

During a home search procedure carried out on May 18 in an area known as Casa Blanca, an urban area of ​​the municipality, García Garay was found in  possession a significant amount of narcotics and objects for packaging and distribution.

After the evidence collected, García Garay reached a preliminary agreement with the Prosecutor’s Office and pleaded guilty to the charges.

With this result, there are 79 convictions achieved by this Sectional Office so far this year.
