The Attorney General’s Office, through the Special Directorate against Criminal Organizations, prosecuted Jefferson Efraín Hernández Sangronis, a Venezuelan citizen who would be part of the Erlín Pino Duarte substructure of the ‘Clan del Golfo’.
This man would be responsible for at least three selective murders that occurred in the metropolitan area of Santa Marta (Magdalena). The violent deaths were perpetrated between September and November 2021.
Hernández Sangronis was arrested in a proceeding carried out with the National Police. The Prosecutor’s Office charged him with conspiracy to commit an aggravated crime for homicide purposes; aggravated homicide; and manufacture, trafficking or possession of firearms.
The defendant must serve a prison sentence.
