The Sectional Office in Boyacá, in a joint effort with the SIJIN judicial police and the accompaniment of soldiers from the National Army, prosecuted four alleged members of ‘Los Trips’, a criminal organization allegedly involved in the sale of synthetic drugs.

According to the investigation, for more than 12 months, these people allegedly sold the drug in schools and sports settings and delivered it to houses in the Manzanares, El Bosque and Rincón de la Floresta neighborhoods in Duitama (Boyacá).

The defendants are; Nilson Guevara, José Antonio Muñoz and Oscar Santiago Caro. A fourth person, although he was released, is still investigated for these crimes.

The defendants were charged with conspiracy to commit an aggravated crime and drug trafficking, manufacturing, or possession. They are also investigated for the alleged sale of marijuana and cocaine and their derivatives.
