After receiving several complaints, monitoring and collecting material evidence, a prosecutor of the Sectional Office in Casanare managed to get a judge from the municipality of Aguazul (Casanare) to issue detention orders against the alleged members of the Los Japoneses criminal gang, that was allegedly involved in drug trafficking.

According to the investigations, these people were involved in micro-trafficking of narcotics, such as bazuco, cocaine hydrochloride, marijuana, and its derivatives in various sectors of the municipality of Yopal (Casanare), through the modality of fixed installation and home deliveries.

The defendants are Milton Fabián García Callejas alias El Zarco, who would be the ringleader; Guillermo Vargas Galindo, who was the supplier of drugs, Pedro Heraldo Rodríguez Ovejero alias Chiqui, distributor and Lady Johana Bonilla Muñoz alias La Flaca. The Prosecutor’s Office charged them with trafficking, manufacturing or possession of narcotics and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Milton Fabián García Callejas, Guillermo Vargas Galindo and Pedro Heraldo Rodríguez Ovejero were sent to prison, while Lady Johana Bonilla must remain under house arrest.
