At the request of a prosecutor in Magangué, a judge issued an arrest warrant against Arnell Gale Martelo, allegedly responsible for the crime of domestic violence.

The facts occurred on June 20 in Costa Azul neighborhood of that municipality, where members of the National Police gave help due in an alleged act of violence  inside a residence.

Judicial police work showed that the alleged 38-year-old allegedly  tried to attack her mother, an elderly woman, with a blunt object, to whom he also threatened to burn down her house and kill her.

These behaviors, apparently, are repetitive, and the victims are the members of his family. Apparently, the attacks occur when the man is under the influence of drugs.

The defendant did not plead guilty to the charges. By the judge decision, he must  serve a sentence in the so-called Camilo Torres prison in Magangué.
