After accepting the request made by a prosecutor of the Sectional Office in Valle del Cauca, a judge sent two men to prison who were allegedly implicated in the murder of Víctor Manuel Jaramillo Blandón (19-year-old).
These foreign citizens Yonathan Rafael Ballet Atencio and Deiby Junior López Sánchez allegedly participated in the murder of Jaramillo Blandón, in facts that took place on April 11 in the aforementioned municipality.
According to the investigation, the suspects were riding a motorcycle that was reported as stolen and, apparently, they shot the victim several times, and he died immediately.
The defendants were arrested by the National Police when, apparently, they were trying to flee from the scene.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged the arrested people with aggravated homicide, manufacturing, trafficking and aggravated possession of firearms; and aggravated receiving stolen property. The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges.
