At the request of a prosecutor belonging to the Sectional Office in Santander Víctor Manuel García was sent to prison for his alleged responsibility in the crime of attempted femicide.
The events occurred in San Gil, Santander, on February 12, when the defendant allegedly attacked his sentimental partner with blunt objects and a sharp weapon, causing multiple injuries.
He then took the victim to the municipal hospital where he stated that he had found the victim in those conditions when he arrived home
However, after the investigations carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office and the Police, it was possible to obtain evidence against him.
He did not plead guilty to the charges.
