After accepting the arguments presented by the Attorney General’s Office, a judge sent five alleged members of a criminal group to prison. They were charged with aggravated conspiracy to commit a crime; trafficking or possession of narcotics, aggravated homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition.
The decision was pronounced against:
1.Juan José Ospina Pineda, alias Gordo Ospina.
2.Olga Lucía Leguísamo Rodríguez, alias Olga.
3.Luz Elena Aparicio Torres, sentimental partner of the alleged ringleader of the criminal group
4.Julien Negrin Cortés, alias Yuriem.
- Mayra Alejandra Barradas Ramírez.
Carlos Arturo Ospina Motato, alias Motato; and Cristian David Vergara, alias Cofee, were notified of the same crimes in the so-called La Picota prison in Bogotá, where they remain deprived of their liberty for other crimes.
According to the investigations, the criminal group was apparently led by Ospina Motato and Vergara, and it was involved in drug trafficking activities in the municipality of Guadalajara de Buga (Valle del Cauca). It is believed that those who were prosecuted are responsible for the murder of Luis Álvaro Ordóñez, alias El Fotógrafo, which took place in 2020 in this area.
Members of the Technical Investigative Corps (Cuerpo Tecnico de Investigación CTI) of the Sectional Office in Valle del Cauca and Sijín- National Police carried out the arrests in Buga.
