The Attorney General´s Office charged before a judge six alleged members of the criminal gang Los Furiosos, allegedly involved in trafficking illegal substances in the municipalities of San Pablo, Cantagallo (Bolívar) and Puerto Wilches (Santander).

The people allegedly involved are Adriano Palacio Palacio, Ferney Aguilar Uribe, Edwin Carranza Siolo,  Clemente Guerrero Vesga, Mauricio Buitrago Martínez, and Lacides Campo Palma who were charged by the Office of the Attorney General with conspiracy to commit a crime for the purpose of trafficking and possessing drugs.

According to the investigation, this drug trafficking network traded illicit substances in small quantities in the south area of Bolívar and Santander, where they also allegedly manufactured hallucinogens.

Some members of the Attorney General’s Office and the National Police participated in the operation carried out on June 18 in which members of the gang were arrested.

In these procedures, material to process alkaloids and two cell phones were seized

According to the judge´s decision, Palacio, Aguilar and Carranza were sent to prison. Guerrero Vesga, Buitrago Martínez and Campo Palma will remain under house arrest.
