The evidence collected by the Attorney General’s Office was decisive for a judge to sentence Harold Manzano Méndez to 33 years and 3 months in prison, for the homicide of a man, that took place on November 8th, 2020, in Cali (Valle del Cauca).
The convicted man attacked the 47-year-old victim with a knife on a public street in Alfonso López neighborhood of Cali. The man was taken to a hospital, but due to the severity of the wounds he died.
The Prosecutor’s Office demonstrated that the attacker took advantage of the victim’s defenseless state, since he was walking off-guard on the street.
The judge did not grant any type of benefit to Manzano Méndez, so he must serve his sentence in a prison.
