During the criminal action, three other people were injured. Those people responsible were alleged members of the criminal structure known as La Aldea.

As part of the differential strategy in the territories, the Office of the Attorney General, through the itinerant groups with the support of the Technical Investigative Corps (CTI) and the National Police, arrested two men in the city of Armenia who allegedly participated in the multiple murder of 4 people perpetrated in Circasia (Quindío), on April 4th.

According to the inquiries, on that day in the morning, armed men arrived at neighborhood La Esmeralda and fired indiscriminately at people who were in a home.

Judicial police work, such as wiretappings, selective search in databases, ballistic studies, and fixation of tracks from the crime scene with 3D technology, allowed to identify the alleged perpetrators and clarify the facts in less than 48 hours.

Two alleged members of the criminal structure La Aldea that operate in the Department of Quindío were allegedly involved. The Office of the Attorney General will charge them with aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder, and aggravated illegal possession of firearms for personal use.

It was also proved that the organization is allegedly responsible for the commission of several murders that took place in Circasia.
