Edinson Villa Cerón, a Colombian citizen wanted with a view to extradition by the Spanish justice, was turned over to the Office of the Attorney General.
This person is wanted with a view to serve a sentence issued by the Fourth Section of the court of Spain (Audiencia Provincial in spanish) for the rape of a minor.
Villa Cerón was arrested by Dijin-National Police and was turned over to the Office of the Attorney General in order to continue with his extradition process in accordance with the request made by the Government of Spain.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be informed about the aforementioned arrest, so that, the Ministry can inform the Embassy of Spain in Bogotá.
