The so-called ‘Bolsillos de Cristal’ plan which began in August 2016, reached 3,000 accusations in investigations where public resources for more than $ 4.7 trillion pesos were involved.

The strategy which has allowed the Office of the Attorney General to identify and prosecute people responsible for multiple illegal actions to divert or appropriate public resources reached this week 3,000 accusations. This is an unprecedented number in the fight against corruption in the country.

Since August 2016, when the so-called Bolsillos de Cristal plan began, 1,036 public servants, including mayors, governors, magistrates, judges, prosecutors and judicial investigators; 754 former public servants and 1,210 private individuals acting as legal representatives of companies and contractors have been brought before the judges (in spanish Control de Garantias).
