Child exploitation and actions affecting environment, were the focal points adressed during visit of the Attorney General in Guainía

Issues such as sexual abuse of minors and the illegal exploitation of natural resources were, among others, the topics discussed during the meeting held this Friday by the Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado, and the director of the Sectional Office Guainía-Vaupés based in Inírida, Rosa Aura Peña.

“We will not tolerate the use of our children and teenagers in matters related to sexual crimes. We will not tolerate the illegal exploration and exploitation of the environment, nor actions that affect the fundamental rights of our population”, said Attorney General at the end of the meeting.

This statement was issued by the Attorney General during his visit to Puerto Inírida, as part of his strategy which intends to approach territories. It is coherent with the slogan that characterizes his administration: ‘En la calle y los territorios’.
