Former public servant of a court and her couple were prosecuted for allegedly committing fraud against 19 people under the modality of fake real estate auction

The defendants were arrested in Ricaurte (Cundinamarca) by CTI members belonging to the support team against fraud (Estructura de Apoyo contra la estafa). The investigators were able to associate 13 cases.

Cindy Paola Rodríguez Robayo (27 years old) and Cristhian Camilo Conde García (32 years old) were arrested this January 29 by judicial police officers belonging to the Sectional Office in Tolima with support of the Army in Ricaurte (Cundinamarca) by virtue of a court order issued against them for criminal conspiracy to commit fraud and aggravated fraud in which 19 people were victims.

The woman who is lawyer and worked as a judicial assistant until last year in a civil court in Bogotá took advantage of her status and position to defraud citizens of Ibagué and La Dorada along with her husband. They offered apartments that were allegedly in an auction process before the court where she worked and told people that these apartments were located in a recognized residential complex  in the main city of Tolima.
