The evidence gathered by the Office of the Attorney General allowed to establish that Joseph Puseit Jones held prisoners and tortured two people who allegedly lost some blocks of cocaine while transporting them at sea.
Apparently, a criminal organization would have hired a boat captain and his assistant to transport a person who would carry some packages from the San Andres to Providencia Isle. During the trip, the vessel was detected by Navy units, so the crew changed the route and threw part of the merchandise into the sea to facilitate the escape.
A day later, Joseph Puseit Jones, his brother and two other men, found the two boatmen and claimed for the loss of the drug and they allegedly took the boatmen out of their houses to a wooded area where they were held during January 13 and 15, 2019. Victims would have been beaten and attacked on their heads and extremities with scissors used to cut chicken.
