At the request of the Office of the Attorney, the court issued home confinement against the mayor of California (Santander), Hugo Arnoldo Lizcano Pulido, who was arrested last week along with other 4 individuals by members of the Technical Investigative Corps (CTI) of the Office of the Attorney General.
The prosecutor of the case charged them with environmental pollution, aggravated invasion of an area of special ecological importance, illegal exploitation of mineral deposits and other materials, criminal conspiracy to commit crimes and bribery (offering or giving).
