Liliana del Carmen Campos Puello, aka Madame, Gustavo Ruiz and Carlos Enrique Campo, pleaded guilty to human trafficking in persons and criminal conspiracy.

The Second Special Criminal Court of Cartagena approved the plea bargain in which Liliana del Carmen Campos Puello, alias ‘La Madame’, Gustavo Ruiz and Carlos Enrique Campo pleaded guilty to being part of a criminal network which sexually exploited women in tourist sectors of Cartagena (Bolívar).

The defendants pled guilty to human trafficking and criminal conspiracy. They will face up to 98 months in prison.

The investigation carried out by the Office of the Attorney General showed that Liliana del Carmen Campos Puello, alias ‘La Madame’ was leading the organization and was known as one of the greatest procurers in the Caribbean.
