There have been arrests and people linked to the investigations in the 87.57% of the cases registered in 2019.

Four years ago when Law 1761 of 2015 denominated Rosa Elvira Cely was approved, the Office of the Attorney General launched an investigation and prosecution strategy to clarify feminicides registered in the country.

As a result of the actions of prioritization, the working groups, and training of prosecutors and investigators, a clarification of 87.57% of violent deaths of women has been achieved in 2019.

The effectiveness in the implementation of protocols to investigate these facts by investigators and prosecutors has allowed that all the cases registered as feminicides had been clarified in 21 of the 35 branches of the Office of the Attorney General.
