The Office of the Attorney General and Migration authorities in Colombia, supported by the US agency ICE, arrested seven people who are accused of coordinating the crossing of migrants from Chocó to Panamá.
The discovery of 19 African citizens who died as a result of a wreck in the Caribbean Sea, near Capurganá (Chocó), revealed details of the cruelty of a criminal structure that smuggled migrants from several points of Colombia to Panamá and other countries of Central America.
