Nine properties, valued at 5,600 million pesos, were seized. According to investigations, these properties would be in the name of alias ‘bigotes’, alleged front man of the so-called Domingo Laín Sáenz front of the ELN.

Thanks to a follow-up work on illegal activities committed by the different criminal structures of the ELN, the Office of the Attorney General identified a piece that was essential to hide the resources derived from kidnapping, extortion and illegal mining.

Testimonies and physical evidence collected in several investigations against the so-called Domingo Laín Sáenz front brought to light that José Vicente Arévalo, alias bigotes, would be the main frontman of the ELN in Arauca and the one in charge of generating incomes for the leaders of this structure in the east side of the country.
