‘Guane’ Operation – Assets Forfeiture

Office of the Attorney General imposed precautionary measures on cooperatives and assets belonging to Germán Trujillo Manrique who is investigated for corruption concerning school meals program (Programa de Alimentación Escolar (PAE) in Santander. Assets that were seized amount 33 billion pesos and were seized in Bogotá, Barranquilla, Cúcuta and Neiva.

This investigation concerning corruption on the school meals program (Programa de Alimentación Escolar (PAE) in Santander, which was a case prioritized in ‘Guane’ operation, allowed the Office of the Attorney General to demonstrate multiple irregularities in the stages of planning, hiring and execution of the program.
