Plea bargain with contractor in the case ‘carrusel de la contratación’ in Bogotá was approved by judge

Juan Carlos Aldana, contractor of the so-called Union Temporal de Ambulancias, pled guilty to charges of undue interest in the execution of contracts, bribery and embezzlement. He must return $ 5.8 billion COP for repairing the harm to victims.

A judge from Bogotá approved the plea bargain between the Office of the Attorney General and Juan Carlos Aldana, contractor of the company Unión Temporal de Ambulancias for 2009 who is investigated for irregularities in contract 1229 of 2009, whose value amounted to $ 67,000 million pesos.
