Prison sentence for Lawyer who would be part of the illegal wiretapping network that would be integrated by army officers and retired policemen

Lawyer Diego Rayo was charged with criminal conspiracy and with other five cyber crimes related to personal data and privacy violation

At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, a Guarantee Court (Control de Garantías) issued a preventive detention order with imprisonment against lawyer Diego Mauricio Rayo Abella for his alleged participation in illegal actions committed by the organization which was involved in wiretaps and WhatsApp messages interception to couples, businessmen, trade unionists, members of public force, judicial officers, politicians in order to do business with third parties.
