Due to commitment in preserving freedom of the Press, perpetrators of threats against journalists were identified

Three of the people who threatened national journalists will be charged this week. Investigations concerning 89 cases of journalists who were intimidated go on.

Charges will be filed this week against alleged people who threatened Journalists María Jimena Duzán and Luis Carlos Vélez. Journalists were intimidated through social networks and Katherine Leal, victim of this crime, through phone calls.

The alleged perpetrators of such threats are located in different areas of the country, therefore hearings will take place at regions where they allegedly started in.
