The municipal governor and two collaborators were arrested
Within the framework of the so-called “Bolsillos de cristal Plan”*, the Office of the Attorney General arrested mayor of Curillo (Caquetá), José Ferrín Realpe Orobio, and two of his collaborators due to alleged irregularities that were detected in four contracts amounting $50’000.000 pesos (approximately).
Along with the mayor, the supervisor Daniel Trujillo Vera, and the board coordinator Manuel Gómez García, were also arrested. They were in charge of doing a follow-up to public works and according to the investigation conducted by the Sectional Office in Caquetá, these works were not executed.
*“Bolsillos de Cristal” is a plan which was promoted by the Office of the Attorney General in Colombia in order to fight against corruption.
