“Los Chatarreros” criminal structure which is responsible for the commission of murders, drug trafficking offenses and displacements in Soacha came to an end

The Office of the Attorney General and National Police arrested nine people who were accused of subduing citizens of several neighborhoods in Soacha (Cundinamarca) in order to prevent them from denouncing any criminal behavior of a structure that used a façade of a scrap metal industry

Several reports “denuncias”  filed by citizens of the so-called Comuna 6 in Soacha (Cundinamarca)  was the starting point to detect an illegal behavior of the self-named “Los Chatarreros” that wanted to impose their illegal business of drugs sale.

The Branch Office in Cundinamarca, National Police and in cooperation with Unidad Nacional de Intervención (Unipol), worked together in order to establish identities and whereabouts of one of the organizations that affected public safety the most.
