The defendant took possession of 5 million pesos that were part of an advance payment to design and build sports scenarios for the XX National Games and IV Para National Games 2015.

Charges were brought by the Office of the Attorney General against former adviser of Imdri Institute (in spanish Instituto Municipal para el Deporte y la Recreación de Ibagué) who was also appointed as supervisor of contract to remodel sport scenarios, Mauricio Campos del Cairo.

According to the investigation carried out by a  prosecutor from the Unit on Crimes against Public Administration (Unidad de  Delitos contra la Administración Pública), Campos del Cairo allowed the Spanish company Typsa to take possession of $1.885 million pesos of $3.449 that were part of handouts for former adviser of the Municipal major´s Office in Ibagué, Orlando Arciniegas. 5 million pesos of this money allegedly belonged to the defendant.
