Charges were brought against five employees of the so-called Empresa Social de Estado ESE Solución Salud – Department of Meta and a contractor for alleged corrupt practices

The Office of the Attorney General charged five employees of the so-called Empresa Social de Estado ESE Solución Salud – Department of Meta and a contractor with alleged corrupt practices committed in the purchase of basic equipment and materials for emergencies, hospitalization and laboratories, among others.

A Prosecutor´s Office belonging to Unit on Crimes against Public Administration in Villavicencio (Unidad de Delitos contra la Administración Pública) accused them of being the alleged perpetrators of embezzlement and execution of contracts without compliance of the legal requirements. These actions affected the quality and the possibility to have access to health services in 18 municipalities of the Department.
