Deputy Attorney, María Paulina Riveros Dueñas, visited Tumaco (Nariño) within the framework of plan denominated “Plan 501 Municipios” (plan 501 municipalities). The purpose is to strengthen and create presence of the institution in prioritized sectors that require presence of justice.
Tumaco showed a significant increase in murders compared with year 2016 since an increase of 32.5 % was reported. A total of 103 murders this year.
