The 5th Municipal Court in Buenaventura issued a preventive detention order with imprisonment for Ronald Armando Viveros Mejía known as alias “pequeñas cosas”.
Several complaints were filed by residents of the so-called Comuna 12 in Buenaventura reporting murders, forced displacements, extortions committed by “Clan de Golfo”.Therefore the Office of the Attorney General opened an investigation against Viveros Mejía.
Another sector which was affected by “pequeñas cosas” was moto cabs. He allegedly forced them to pay between 5 and 30 thousand pesos (daily) in order for them to get a permission to drive in specific roads.
