“As Deputy Attorney I am honored to be here in the municipality of Colombia (Huila) for the first time. As we know, the Peace Process commitment was to arrive in the most affected municipalities by conflict, those that suffered the most from the ravages of war. That is known as territorial peace” stated Deputy Attorney Maria Paulina Riveros Dueñas in the opening ceremony of that headquarters.
She also highlighted the importance of this Office of the Attorney General to build a steady and long-lasting peace. “It is time to build a new country, to refund our State, to reach a new agreement to assure all citizens inclusion. It is time to justice and ask for pardon but it is also time to forgive”.
