At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, the 47th Criminal Court in Bogotá (Guarantee Court) issued a preventive detention order with imprisonment for nine members of a criminal network formed by public servants and private particulars which privileged criminals with judicial benefits.
As stated by the Office of the Attorney General, “some of them got involved in legal proceedings in order to release and help people accused of drug trafficking, sexual crimes, criminal gangs and other crimes”
