The Criminal Investigation Team (CTI) in Tolima arrested eleven (11) people who were allegedly part of the criminal network which participated in several robberies of commercial establishments in the main city of Tolima.
The investigation allowed to associate 28 cases with the same modus operandi in which the affected establishments were hardware stores, drug stores, butcher´s shop, weaving workshops, fabric stores and bakeries.
Police members were allegedly involved in these robberies and were obeying orders of the Head of the organization who is currently serving a sentence in Picaleña prison in Ibagué (Tolima) for arms possession.
