Charges will be brought by the Office of the Attorney General against three people for Cemex-C.I. Calizas case

An alleged mishandling of $40.000.000.000 pesos is being investigated

Last June 1, the Office of the Attorney General has requested a hearing to bring charges against two former public servants of Cemex, a cement manufacturer, and a representative of the Company C.I. Calizas S.A.

The hearing has been scheduled for august 1^st in the city of Bogotá.

According to investigations conducted by the Office of the Attorney General, Édgar Ramírez Martínez, Planning Office – vice president, and Camilo González Téllez, Legal Office- Vice president, acting as directors of Cemex Colombia, along with Eugenio Correa Díaz negotiated the purchase of assets of the latter.
