Arrested nine members of the so-called Los Pachenca Marquetalia criminal organization in Santa Marta (Magdalena)

The Criminal Investigation Team (CTI) -Office of the Attorney General based in Magdalena arrested nine alleged members of the so-called Los Pachenca Marquetalia criminal organization in Santa Marta (Magdalena) engaged in the commission of extortions, murders and forced displacements in the Department of Magdalena.

These proceedings were conducted during fourteen home searches in rural areas of Marquetalia and Palomino near the Departments of Magdalena and Guajira by order of the 5^th Municipal Court in Santa Marta.

Among the arrested people are five alleged ringleaders of the above mentioned criminal gang:  alias Colmillo, Maleidis, José Mango, Toño and Alvarito.
