A preventive detention order for an alleged member of the so-called “Los Cambiarios” criminal organization was issued

The arrested person allegedly belongs to an organization that illegally changed debit and credit cards in automated teller machines

The 5^th Municipal Court (Guarantee Court) in Ibagué (Tolima) issued a preventive detention order for César Augusto Álvarez Pinto for his alleged participation in 36 aggravated cyber thefts, especially against senior citizens.

By virtue of a warrant of arrest, members of the Criminal Investigation Team (CTI) arrested him in La Estación neighborhood in Tolima (carrera 3ª con calle 23).
