“It is urgent to have a public, legal and penitentiary policy for society of XXI century ”: stated Attorney General

During his speech in the International Congress on Penitentiary Policy, Attorney General Néstor Humberto Martínez Neira sent a message about the need of rationalization of criminal law. The event was planned by the Office of the Inspector General (Procuraduria).

When referring to the urgency to evaluate the tendency to criminalize social life, Attorney General stated “this is the moment to carry out an analysis from a perspective of rationalization of criminal law if we want to have a good penitentiary policy; an efficient penitentiary policy”.
