Charges were brought by the Office of the Attorney General against an AUC postulate* for gender-based violence and other four offenses

Germán Antonio Pineda López, alias Cindy, former member of the so called “Bloque Suroeste Antioqueño” of the Self Defense Forces of Colombia -AUC appeared in a hearing in which charges were brought against him.

Fifty six (56) facts related to murders, forced disappearance, kidnapping, torture, gender-based violence, were attributed in the hearing. These directly affected 66 victims from the municipality of Salgar and Ciudad Bolívar (Antioquia) between 1999 and 2004.

1. Postulados: demobilized members of illegal armed groups who postulated to obtain a benefit from the Justice and Peace Law.
