Preventive detention orders were issued for a public servant and a former public servant of the Legal Institute of Medicine due to alleged irregular practices when issuing medical reports

They allegedly issued faked medical reports in order to favor imprisoned people to obtain benefits such as home confinement 

Preventive detention orders with imprisonment were issued for a public servant and a former public servant of the Legal Institute of Medicine in the municipality of Palmira (Valle del Cauca).

That was the decision made by the 14 Municipal Court (Guarantee Court) at the request of the delegate prosecutor before the High Court in Cali (Valle del Cauca) within the framework of the so-called Bolsillos de Cristal plan¹ which was implemented by the Office of the Attorney General to fight against corruption.
