Preventive detention orders were issued for 22 alleged members of the so-called “Kioskos or Pokemón” criminal organization

Preventive detention orders with imprisonment and home confinement were issued for 21 alleged members of the so-called “Kioskos or Pokemón” criminal organization. Also a minor was sent to a juvenile detention center.

Decision was made by a municipal court of mixed jurisdiction (in spanish “Juzgado Promiscuo”) in Guadalajara de Buga (Valle del Cauca) at the request of a Special Prosecutor of the National Office against Organized Crime in Cali (Valle del Cauca).

According to the Office of the Attorney General, the members of the above mentioned criminal gang operated in the so-called Comuna 6 which is located in Valle del Cauca, Jarillón sector, Floralia neighborhood. Besides the murders, they are investigated for disappearance of people who were murdered and then their bodies were thrown into the Cauca river.
